But I realy wanted to make a traditional cleaned up cartoon looking picture today:

red colerase sketch

0.3 mm mechanical HB pencil cleanup. I'll never use 0.3 mm again^^. I took ages to clean up. I'll stay with 0.7mm like I usaly do from now on. I just wanted to try a thin pencil, becasue Ive been looking at Evana's drawings , and I cant belive how she's able to create such clean looking traditional lines..

I drew it traditionaly with pencil, and did the rest in Adobe photoshop.

Cellshaded by using the pen tool. Gives theese jagged edges wich makes it easier to change the colour by using bucketfill later. (I'll shrink the image to a smaller resolution later, so it will all get smooth/antialiased anyway)
Rest of the subtle shading on the characters and the background was done with custum brush

I have "shape" and "other" dynamics turned on. They're both controlled by the "pen pressure" If you get in there.
If anyone's intrested, here's an early photoshop file: (it's shrinked down in size though)

You can easily colour the lineart since it's in a masked layer in this file. But I just chose black for this one.
Arthur is this (http://evana.deviantart.com/) the Evana you speak of?:o

It's all drawn traditionaly, then coloured later in photoshop. Amazing artist.
The anatomy is so damn solid too. Same goes for the line quality...
Ahh. I remember her from Brackenwood now. Is she still active?
