I've been working on my project's first episode for almost 6 months now. The basic jist is : 24FPS on two's, output to 720pHD. The animation pencil is almost done on 60+ shots.

I just wandered through my pencil testing software and it turns out i've been timing almost everything @ 15 FPS, on two's. And things seemed to be going so well...

So my question is: I've never animated thru to output at 15 fps (or 30 for that matter) so what the hell is up? Assuming I just take everything through as though I'd planned on animating @15fps at the start... But what's the final output for that technique, 30 FPS? I really have my heart set on 24pHD, and SUPPOSE I could do a pulldown...

Why the *&@*#$& do people animate on this odd number of frames? I suppose it's less work, but the output is whack! 30 frames in 2 seconds? WTF?!

And before anyone gets onto me about default settings and prefs, my HD crashed just before production and I missed some re-calibrations. Any help would be freakin' sweet! :)

Ouch! Is your computer still intact? (hears smashing sound) Well, the only thing I can offer is that you have a lot of work to do. It's too bad but it's not the end of the world.....unless your under a deadline. Keep your chin up and keep plugging away. Deep breath!
