View Full Version : Some sort of Collaboration?

I was thinking about collaborating with someone, but then I found out that it's pretty damn hard to do since nearly every animator I know lives in a different country, so getting good cooperation is very hard. So here's an idea that might work out.

Anyone seen the Animatrix? It's one DVD with 9 animated shorts all related to the Matrix and/or it's history and/or just random stories in the matrix. They are all different stories.

Maybe we can do a similar thing on AnimationForum.net. We could either write one big ass story, divide that into episodes and then have people who apply for it work on one of the episodes and we make a series of shorts that follow one storyline.

OR we could set a theme, and then everybody sends in a story around that theme. The best ones are chosen and we make animated shorts of those.

Yeah. Or we could do nothing at all. ;)

It think it would be great to work on one big project just for the fun of it.

with the great frustration and failure of the last AF collab,i'd have to vote against it*damn those memories of wasted time*

doesn't mean anyone else can't get involved though.

I would like too but I want to work more on getting better at animation before I move on.:cool:

it twas a cold dark evening,around 5 af members had the passion to collab,a week in..they all lost the passionl

no,he more or less lost interest aswell,he didn't *leave* because he was never a frequent poster anyway,infact,the only time he did really post was when the collab was up.

he's more of a brackenwooder anyway,which is cool with me.I ain't trying to run brackenwood junior,we had so many people from brackenwood in the beggining that it felt like brackenwood light or sumthin.i've spoke to cel on msn,he's cool.

Rage just do a forum search on collab,i'm sure u'll find the old threads..

Yeah. The next time there's any form of collaboration everyone should be sure thery're able to actually work on it.
