I've discovered that my SWFs seem to play much better from this site, so I'm changing the link to the following:

Jim that was great. It's not often that I see a animation with this style of momentum. It moved slow, yet it kept me interested the entire time. The barbers jokes didn't rely on the animation , but on the joke it self. It was a very well done short and a beautiful rememberance of Percy.
We are pleased to award you 2 Silver Talent Points and place you in our feature rotation.
Your award log has been updated http://www.animationforum.net/forum/showthread.php?t=631 (http://www.animationforum.net/forum/showthread.php?t=631)

Beautiful piece of work Jim. Very refreshing to see good animation posted on the web for a change. (no insult intended here guys:D ) I liked the Bovine Viagra scene.:)
This guy must have made quite an impression on you for you to take that much time to commit to your work. We could use more people like him on this planet.
I remembered watching your western quite a while back and I'm sure I said "wow" out loud. Very nice work. I also remember reading your story of your battle with cancer. Very touching. I don't quite remember where I found that, must have browsed another site that had your profile.
Well sir, a belated welcome from me and my hat's off to you and your work. Maybe you could give a few of us a hand straightening these young whippersnappers out.;) Oh, and I like the last line in your profile. You and Cartuneman should get along just fine! :D

I liked the writing, but the pacing was bad. I didn't mind that it was slow, it just had no life to it. The pacing was very artificial. The jokes are great, but could've been more effective with better timing.
I cracked a smile, but that's about it.:o

I'm sorry to hear that because I consider pacing and timing to be extremely important. I have noticed, however, that when I play this piece off the net, it sometimes fails to run at the pace that it was designed to play. Perhaps that accounts for your observation. When it is played directly from my system, it runs perfectly. In any case, thanks for your comments.

I looked at your stuff. Clever and funny. I have virtually no knowledge of After Effects software, but I'd like to experiment with it someday.
No, Elephant, I've never worked for Disney or Warner Brothers. To me, animation is a beloved hobby.

Wow this is great! ...very refreshing to see something on the web that doesn't rely on shock value or farts and STILL be entertaining!

Sorry that i have to ask, but do you have a downloadable version of your animation by any chance?
Unfortunately they don't support flash under 64-bit linux yet.
This goes for "Perpetual Motion" aswell. =)

I'm not sure I understand the problem you are describing.
I suppose I could create a projector file and send it to you via an e-mail attachment. Although I'm not sure that would work. Are you Windows or Mac?

Neither, i run Linux.
I can view most video files though, except for the very latest WMV9.
Even FLV, the flash video format ironically enough.
Apparently Adobe will be giving us a properly supported flash player when version 9 comes around.
great short!
but i have a question, at the end credits - what's toon boom [edit] studio?
---actually i saw that in the "very short western", i mixed up the threads. And god thats a fast feedback!
