I love satire. This one was done a couple of years ago when I was first learning to work with Toonboom software.

If I were to re-do it now, I would make a few improvements.

You should re-make that. The idea is wonderful. (although it isn't half-bad in it's current form either)
Loved the ending.

I liked this one better...
Although the zoom-ins didn't look that good, they worked. But the style, like in the Percy short, looks a bit dull to me.
Well, that's just my humble opinion. Nice script, by the way.

Personally, I liked Percy one better. Not because of the animation, but because the script moved me more. As far as the style goes, I have to disagree with everyone here. Topdrawer, you have an old school approach to animation, which is so freaking hard to find these days. It may not be as fast as most of todays generation shorts, but it sticks to telling the story, which is the main purpose of animation. I say, stick with what your doing, you have a wonderfull way of telling tales. It's very distinct and may not appeal to everyone, but can easily be pinpointe in a crowd of other animations.
Just my 2 cents.
And as for your 2 cents :) You've just racked up another Silver Talent Point to your record.

I'm afraid an old guy like me pretty much has to be "OLD SCHOOL"
I'm deeply honored that my work has been so well received by the folks on this forum. I have a few other animated cartoons I might post here soon.
Thanks again

Don't say that! :p
You can always experiment with different sorts of things.
I just personally like styles that are visually unique and different from everything else (but they're not always that good).
And I do agree with Terro - animation is a way of telling stories, so the graphics don't always have to appeal everyone.
Looking forward to seeing more.

LOL. I loved it Topdrawer. Reminds me of those WB cartoons of "The modern home" or "the stork visits". Really keep on doing what you're doing. I was expecting a david blaine reference though. ;) Great Work.

Apparently you've never seen a performance Artist. :) They are a funny and absurd bunch. That's why I loved this. I've seen people like this. Usually showing off at a local bookstore or something. They have a publicist explain their "art" to the audience while they sit there looking "cool"
Again Topdrawer I loved this thing.

I think it has something to do with positive reinforcement for creating poo being the subconsious motivation behind the work of avant garde performance artists?
I liked this one a lot topdrawer. The flopping fish smacking the head was my fav bit of animation.
