The Idea for this silly little cartoon came to me in a dream in 1995 after undergoing surgery for pancreatic cancer. I had been told by the doctors that even with the surgery, radiation and chemo therapy, the likelyhood of my survival for over six months was not very promising. Well, obviously they were wrong. That was over a decade ago! Eventually I made the idea into an animated cartoon. It's no masterpiece, but it has special meaning to me personally. I hope it brings you a smile!

That was a great short. You still got some good ideas under your belt T.D.
What I really enjoyed about this animation is it's pace. It was short and to the point but had comedy and brains behind it. The timing was really well done, there were no segments that I thought dragged on or were too short. Very nicely compiled.
With that said, this wil be your second animation that we'll be featuring , and with that will be adding 2 additional Silver Talents to you log.
This submittion brought you up to the Gold Talent Tiere, from now on, your next rank increase will come when you accumulate enough Talents to equal 1 Gold Talent.

Crazy question, what was the first invention that the guy tried to make? It looked like an old film projector.
Glad you are alive and well!
Steve Jobs survived pancreatic cancer as well.

It's supposed to be seen as a screwball machine designed to run forever without external power (perpetual motion). The label at the top of the blueprint indicates that this is just another in a series of hundreds of attempts to create perpetual motion. It might have been better to show the
crackpot inventor going through several failed designs before the dog gag is introduced. I'm not sure. What do you think?
Thanks doc, for the info about Steve Jobs. I didn't know that.

I didn't know that was still out there. It looks good at that higher resolution but doesn't play smoothly at all (no preloader). It was submitted to the competition on DVD so filesize wasn't an issue.
I'm considering entering "Remembering Percy" in the next TGSNT competition.
