I'm using Macromedia Flash 8 currently, (and in the the last post in the thread).
I think that animation was somewhere around 41 frames long, with 4 layers. I would have made it longer, however, my HP Windows 7 laptop seems to freeze after the 45th frame. Am I using too many layers? Is this common with Flash users?
Also, when I export my project as .avi it hurts the quality of the animation, making it look pixelated. I would export as .mov (if that would make a difference), but for some reason Flash 8 can't find my "QuickTime component".
Should I upgrade to the 700 dollar CS5? Or switch to another software completely? My laptop is 650 dollars, intel Pentium processor, 2010 Windows 7 Professional. Thanks!
