3 grand? that is really costly, this is why i use flash :)

can anyone tell me what toonboom can do that flash cant? i am curious

toomboom has more traditional tools,its actually meant for animation production, where as flash was/is meant for web design etc,which is why they don't make any new tools for animators because thats not who they are aiming to sell it too.

toonboom is more for companies/studios which is why its so expensive,that and all the tools.

if u want expensive,try buying a full 3d program,if u have a spare 6,000 bucks:p

I use flash myself but definitely see myself going over to toonboom with in the next few years. They have extra utilities such as cameras, dope sheetts, ect... that comes in very handy in animation. I believe they even have a bone system for cut out type of animation.
