Admin people. if you want to move this, go ahead, I know it's not a full featured animation. Just wanted to show you my new best friend! :D

At least, the result of me and my best friend. Toon Boom Studio rules all! EVEN FLASH!!!
Except for ActionScript, it would be nice to have that too...

Anyway, I animated this traditionally. My idea was to animate a boxer, but I forgot about *thiiiiinkiiiiing* (oooooooooh), and I made the arms swing in an attempt at an overlapping action. Now it looks more like a naked dancer. :p

NOOB!

hhmmmmm....to be completly honest rage,i don't like when people say "i didn't put so much effort into this etc etc." cos that leaves me thinking what i'm supposed to say or comment on?

Yes he looks like he's dancing as you said.thats all i can say at this point.

Looking foward to something u put effort in ;)

I like this.

The animation kind-of loses it's charm when you vectorize the lines, doesn't it? That's what I hate about using vector-based programs to do traditional animations.

Show us some mooorrree...

Okay, I'll show you some moreeeee. Moreeee?

Ya.
Later, I guess.

Noob: Well, I meant, I didn't put much effort into animating it, as I just needed some drawings to color. I could've used some sample files, of course, but it's never like animating your own work and experimenting with it.

elephant: Well, these lines aren't vectorized well indeed. They were scanned way to big, to begin with. Also, there are a few filter modes for the vectorizer but I wasn't sure which one to pick, so I just trusted my hand to move the mouse to the right spot to press the Apple mighty mouse which then gives a click sound and sends a signal to the iMac through a USB cable and then the signal is converted into computer language 010111000 or something and so the cursor selects one. Yup. I hoped for all that to happen in just the right way. Sort of. A bit. Or. Not. Not really. Not at all.

Ya.

But I have an idea in my head. I'll start animating it this weekend. First I still need to finish the animations for Eternity's Child and then pick up my report card from school.

Trust me, this time it will take more time, and it will require effort. Hmkay?

Thats not bad. I like the thick outlines, just wish they were a bit cleaner. The colors were rich and the zoom fade came in at a nice tempo. Is this a part of a longer animation? I'd love to see it complete.

Ooh no, just practise. ATM I'm working on Eternity's Child, but I'll do a longer animation (just 10 seconds or so, but it will have sound etc.) this weekend. I think I'll start thumbnailing tonight.

Yay! Do you mind showing us the sketchy non-vector animation too, then? Perhaps just a tiny bit? :D

Keep us updated and what's most important - don't give up, finish that bitch!

edit- this Eternity's Child (http://www.eternityschild.com/)?

Yesh, yesh. The phone version is out, and I'm working on animations for the Xbox 360 version.
