Ok guys and gals,

Here is a scribble that I refered to in the class room. Take this scribble and look at it closely and create!!!! you can turn this scribble around or tilt it 90 degrees or what ever but still use the scribble as the base for your art and send your finished scribble to me by way of Private message and once I get everyones submissions I'll post all of them at once.
On Your mark..............get set!......gooooooooooooo................:D

i used to use this technique when i was younger, and although it worked, its really only good if ur doin random stuff.

and i don't like not knowing what i'm goin to draw, certainly doesn't teach the artist to think.

but maybe i'll give it another shot one day.

Mr Noob, This is an exersise in imagination, and by all accounts anything that allows you to explore your imagination dose teach the artist to think. And as for Random stuff........Randomley speaking, the ability to randomley draw is the imagination hard at work.

Ok.....,

lets see if this works................anyone who wants to get in on this, Go for it!

This is a challenge the person I deam best, who creates the best art from the scribble can then post a scribble of thier own and judge it and so on and so on. We must put a time limit on submissions so as to mantain a level of control over the challenge. (1 week) I produced the first scribble..........So who is going to be the master scribble artist? Huuuuuuugh?

This is Ben's submission!
Cool huh? You go Ben!

Crazy question. I no longer have a Wacom so I could only trace the scribble with my mouse. How did you guys modify the scribble?

Wacom, mouse, flash (imported object on another layer), imported object and traced with?, etc.

I have a lot to do this weekend, and I am sure that those of us left here would like to get started on the next one (I find this fun, anyway!). This was my first time judging anything and even though there were only two of you, it was a tough one anyway......

In first place: Vic!
A very close second: PCDOC!

I'm telling you truly that I was going to award PC the win, but the elephant picture took Vic over the top! I think that PC did an excellent job and deserves a mention of his improvements lately, but Vic is gifted with an overactive imagination!

It's a hard decision but I think I will pass the next scribble onto Jackhalfaprayer for his deer - it is imaginative and also because to me it looks like the head of one sewn onto the body of another, like some sort of... Franken... stag.

Okay so I'm double posting but I think Cartuneman should be able to jump in and submit a scribble during waiting times like this. Just a thought. Hate to see this thread die out due to busy schedules from participants. Understandable but frustrating. Let's have some scribbles man!!

I think the problem is that everyone is currently busy getting their asses handed to them by Ben at the CD thread:D

Here's BannanaMan...

Haha, my winning streak at the character design thread must end eventually.

I saw this in the scribble:

Funny... whenever I try and draw using pressure sensitivity in flash it crashes, though it worked fine before today...

Yeah, I think it's due to the scribble. It's not much to work with. No offence.:)

Yeah, I think it's due to the scribble.

Jeez, it must be the scribble. Shame, that. I chose this one particular scribble out of nearly 6 other scribbles. Thought it looked promising.

Blame it on the scribble, eh?

Sorry for the late reply but my work changed my shifts and I've been busy as hell.

Since this is Friday and Pixelmark submitted a fine looking santa from that scribble, he wins. Nice work.

So, I believe the honour goes to you pixel to submit the next scribble. Make 'er a doozie!:D
