2006 CalArts Character Animation Movies Online Now

Yah this year's producers show is up. Its streaming quicktime so they might not play well if your computer isn't up to the challenge. I really wish they would find a better way to showcase the movies. Oh well.

They're all awesome but I'd say my favorite is Icarus and the Tree Herder. It's at the bottom.

can't believe i forgot to check out the calarts 06 reel,i was too busy drooling over gobelins,

damn theres too many,i didn't realise calarts was an indivdual based protram,thought it was teamed like gobelins.i can't even load the page :(

I'm also getting a problem. Midway through the load I get a unstoppable Active-X controll error on the page.

Terro, I got the Acrive-X control pop-up too. I just clicked ok 106 times and it worked.

LOL, yeah there was no way out of it. Even CTRL-ALT-DEL didn;t work. Just had to keep pressing OK till it let me out.

It works on mine too, maybe because I use Opera (a.k.a. the browser that doesn't SUCK!).

I use Opera and a PC too. It works fine here.
Realy impressive movies Ive seen so far. I gotta see some more now..

edit: nevermind,i got opera and the page is still f'd up,infact its worse,only one i've managed to watch is plaza hotel.

so do calarts never finish their movies? I guess thats one of the downsides to an individually based program

hah, my cousin's ex-boyfriend just got accepted to CalArts! He wants a career is concept design for video games and ****.

as for the films, the last 8 will never load for me, and the sound randomly cuts out in the midle of the movie and suddenly i get static on the picture and ****, sometimes with green flecks... i know my pc could handle running them, i've run much large files streaming like that... so i dont know...

yeh thats what happens here,the music starts,then cuts out,comes back,cuts out again...then picture goes all muddled and sqaurish..lol

lolxorz... hmm, maybe i'll be of questionable character and just have quicktime pro and then save them all to my computer.
