While I was on a two-week vacation in Spain I came up with an idea for a short.
Well, I had the idea for ages but now I'm actually going to make it. The screenplay is ready, but it's on the laptop, and the laptop doesn't work because the adapter got messed up by lightning. There was a lot of lightning in Spain. I'll post as soon as it's repaired, but for now I'll give you a little plot.

It will be about a little old lady. She has trouble walking and grabbing coffee-cups from the cupboard. "If only my husband was still with us."
One day some corny-assed as-seen-on-TV doctor with a big jaw, asks her if he can help, and if she maybe wants to drink his energy drink, Bull's Eye. He warns her for the side effects, but she drinks it anyway.
Then she "realizes," meaning she hallucinates, that her husband was kidnapped at his funeral; he was still alive!
She steals an electric wheelchair from some old guy from "Old People's Place," where she lives. She races to the graveyard, and follows some traces she finds there. She thinks the traces are from the kidnappers, but they're from a family that lost their husband/father. Granny threatens the mother, and she is taken to the family's house so she can look for her husband.
Granny nearly kills the mother but she can't find her 'kidnapped husband.' She races off to Old People's Place and she nearly kills the manager. The manager presses the almighty red button, and a team of doctors comes in and calms her with an injection.
She wakes up and calls it all a misunderstanding, apologizes, and she can go home.
At home she calls the doctor for more of that drink.

My brother and I are going to make a little computer game that continues where the short stopped.

PLEASE, HELP ME WITH A BETTER NAME FOR THE SHORT!
"Super Granny," I don't know. Sounds a bit corny, eh?

Drop the drink and drop something on her head instead?

And don't give her superpowers. It'd be awesome if she was this old femme fatale. Yeah, go with that.

as for the title... Lady D.

;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;)

Lady D. Sounds good!
But what does that 'D' stand for?

Oh no, no superpowers. She just hallucinates. And that drink makes her that crazy old femme fatale. She just forgets how old she is.
Something similar actually happened. There was this new energy drink, but the lab tested it on a couple of people before they sold it. One of them went crazy. She was an older lady, but she became pretty hyperactive, and it seemed she had temporary Joule de la Tourette.

Haha... But if she's a femme fatale, then let her be this slick type and kill with style.

When you rearrange the letters in Lady D(e), then you get 'deadly'. :D

I like what Elephant is bringing into the story. A femme fatale granny would be awsome. The drink makes her think she's as slick and fast as a secret agent when in fact to everyone's eyes she still moves 2 inches an hour, haha.

Secret agent is actually far off what I was thinking, but something like that.

I saw this funny old woman today and immediately thought of this project. She looked perfect for the role. :D
