edit - maybe I'm giving away too much now. You'll see! Some day... let's just say my transformation will not be that much of a physical one. No three-legged snakes.

I've already sketched out the main character and everything else necessary. It's going to be simple, but (as usually) I will try to bring in some symbolism and make it something more than just an animation excerise.

THe prizes aren't that important to me anymore, I just need to do this. :D

Yeah. It's quite a nice idea for a short film (which I already called "The Liberating Bite") and I've been dying to animate something (fully baked) so here's my chance.

This takes place in a future environment. The yellow-black colour scheme was inspired from "The Fountain", just as the cube-transportation device, although the transportation has this shape rather because of it's subliminal meaning.

Almost everything in this short is a metaphor, actually. I'll leave it up to you to interpret as I keep adding to the animation. :D

Hahaha..... no.
I have this big chunk that I haven't animated yet and what I'm having troubles with. So the last bit is quite random for now.
