Some neat little toons brought to you by Tim Burton. Quite a bit more gruesome and macabre than his usual fair, but brilliant in their own way none the less. The animation itself is hardly top notch, but the content makes up for it in my opinion.

This is some really tripped out stuff. Thanks for the find. They were pretty detailed with the animation considering the simple art.

I knew of this and even tried to watch an episode, but I didn't manage to finish (can't remember why) and it really didn't raise that much interest to give it another go.

But I'm watching them now and I have to say that it's pretty nice, thanks for posting this.

Done, the match-stick one was the best... I loved that jazzy tune by Elfman.
Birth of Stainboy was good too.

"But I'll always love you... cos that's what mothers do."

I have to disagree with the quality animation being not *that* good... It suited perfectly.

And there it is, the animation was indeed absolutely perfect, and Elfman is GOD period. But on the terms of fluidity and realism in the animation, it wasn't there, and Elfman is GOD period. So yeah, the animation was divinely suited to the graphical style (designed by Burton for his Oyster Boy stories), and Elfman is GOD period. Match-Girl was also my favourite, just so dark but so clever in playing on a childish medium and style with a mature theme and content, and Elfman is GOD period.
