Thought I'd share this link with interested people who may not know it exists.

Check out the archives on the left menu of that page.
It's just awesome to watch him work, even in a fractured time-lapse way.
If you don't know who Bill (http://www.plymptoons.com) is.... then what animated rock have you been living under?!!
Seriously though, check out his work, you won't regret it!

From looking at how a traditonal animator works, I can see why you guys are all keen on the whole "traditional process" when it comes to learning the craft.
I can't really explain it, but I do see it. (damnit, now I want a light table!)

Plympton is my hero, thanks for linx! Good to hear he's doing another feature. I still need to see "Hair High!"

Oh yes, you must see it!! Hair High is AWESOME!! :D
They played it at the local animation festival here in Brisbane, Australia, a couple of years ago. That was a real treat!
I wonder if there's a dvd, can't seem to find any info about it on the site though :(
Das coo'.
Ya'll might want to check this out.

oh my god... some of the sequences in the fourth timelapse look really good.
This makes me love animation even more, thanks for posting. :D
And even though I've heard of Bill Plympton and seen him on TV, I haven't got a chance to see his works yet.
Maybe I can ask someone for a DVD.

Maybe you can! I have yet to pick up any of his DVDs for myself. I am ashamed. /Looks at wallet
