EDIT: Well, I should have looked one forum down before posting this, but I got excited and just started posting away :) . I'm still not quite sure if this goes here, or in the "Graphic Novel" forum, as it is still basically a concept. Please move as you see fit, and sorry :).

This is an illustrated synopsis of "Camo", my graphic novel project about tigers, which I've put up on my blog:

Naturally, I hope someday to see it made into an animated feature, preferably 2D. Of course, first I have to finish it  :D

hey I'm liking that style. Would be nice to see how fluid it looks animated.

Thanks, Mr. Wonka :),

I'm hoping to have the first couple pages of the graphic novel up within the next couple days.

Nice images. I like the style, it reminds me kind of like the Japanese or Maori illustrations in their stories, where the expressions are really opened up and spread out in detail. In the style, did you mean that you were going to animate it like a digital comic? I mean the kind where the main features of the shot move while the rest are static.
Like this (http://youtube.com/watch?v=sLs_EiJKRys).

Cool style, hope you get it done : )

Roland -

Thanks for your comments.

I'm honored by the comparisons :)

I'd love to make something like that, although I also want to do it as a regular printed graphic novel, and eventually, of course, as an animated movie - but first, I have to finish it  :)

Soon, I'm probably going to do a simple animatic-type thing of the frames of the first few pages, with voice-over and maybe some limited animation. I may try something more advanced later.

I haven't done the animatic yet, but I put a sort of music video/movie trailer thing up on YouTube with the concept art and the Monkees' song "Can You Dig It?"
