this is my major work thingy for highschool, had to give it a fancy title, etc.

they are just done in pencil at A2 size, except for the inkwash which is like 90 cm by 150 cm. some im happy with and some i hate, oh well.

sorry it isnt comic art, but its like the only finished sort of art ive been doing since around may

click thumbnails for larger size, didnt want to waste your time with like 7 big pics loading up.

Values and smoothness of these pieces are killer!
What pencils did you use? Do you blend and smudge them?
Allso did you have reference or are these from the head? It seems so awfully sharp and smooth, but that might be cause of the A2 size. Anyway, I love it!

I am incredibly envious of your talent. especially because if I remember correctly you are younger than I am.

I am going to go cry now.

comic art????

anyways. this is by far awesome..

im really curious about a thing tho, lets say you where not able to use any graytones/shadows

how would that work out what kind of details would you schoose to make it look good?

IM no way near you capacity of art never attended somekind of art school ever so =D

but i just want to know how one of those faces would look like only using lines. if it would look weird or if it doesent work as good it will prove a theory ive had =D
but im sure im wrong =D lol

lol thanks noob sorry to bombard these pages with it but its all i had heheh

cheers the eye glad to be here man!

thanx terro

rubber- only hb pencils, and i didnt smudge any except the one with just the face, i shouldve done it earlier ive only just started to learn some cool techniques in my sketches

haha man thanks, my art isnt worth any crying lol

ori@r.a.m thanks man. draw your hands all the time man, u got an unlimited supply of models. draw your friends hands, draw hands all the time and also dont forget to have a decent understanding of the joints and bones underneath.

Mistchiff- then you would focus on the contours and lineweights. you can show an object is further or closer away by the thickness and type of line. there are a lot of masters at this which will blow u away!
