I've started on a little short series with a working title of "Project Adrian".
It's about a young teenager who falls victim to a would-be fatal explosion in a nano-tech facility that was sabotaged by a rivaling company's spy. Rather than being obliterated by the blast, he is sheilded by a prototype battlesuit being made for the USDF, which is taken out of containment from the explosion and leaches onto him. So the kid is of course now endowed with immense power, but in its footsteps, the burden of fighting off the ones who want it.
Here's a little concept drawing, I'm not too great at this, but I think I could do well if I practice.
