Hey everyone, My name is James and I run a recording studio based in Adelaide, Australia. We are currently looking at building up our company portfolio.

For this reason i am looking for any Animation artists who are after some further experience and interested in joining with us to make a short animation which we can then do the sound design for. Unfortunatly this would be a non paying gig.

I would also be interested in offering my services for free to any other animation projects currently underway.

Some samples of our work can be found on our website (www.saccasound.com). There are not any "Sound Design for Animation" samples up there, however anyone who is seriously interested in taking part in this project or has a project they would like us to take part in may feel free to contact me via email (james_sacca@saccasound.com) and i would be more than happy to send some more relevant material to you.

Regards,

James

Firstly I would like to say thankyou to everyone who has contacted me either via e-mail or via this thread in the last couple of days. It was great to see such a keen and immediate response

I would really like to get this project started immidiatly, all i require is someone with a background in animation who wants to head the animation team. if anyone is interested please contact me asap via e-mail (james_sacca@saccasound.com)

cheers.

I would also like to ad that this project is completeley open to interpretation. by this i mean there is no script, whoever decides to do the animation is free to make it about whatever they would like

I think you should make this into a contest. Get a publisher to sponsor a book on animation (be prepared to UPS it to Guatemala :p ) and think of a reasonable time limit, based on how elaborate of a short you want. Make the soundtrack available, and I asure you the good people at AF will do it, just for the thrill of the challenge. Just make the sound really good.
