So I put a preloader on my Flash movies, but it still drags at times ruining dialogue and other timing/synching. Is there a problem with the preloader? Is this a file size issue or an internet connection issue? Anybody have any ideas or know of a dynamite preloading script? I'm using Flash MX 2004.

You have to stream audio for it to sync up. Can't use the start/stop option.

Here a quick tutorial I found on the net http://journalism.berkeley.edu/multimedia/tutorials/flash/audio.html

If the audio is set to stream, it will load with your preloader and will synch the same on all PC that it's played on.

Thanks, this helps. I had it set to "event". It seems like the audio played fine, but the image was slow, ie, The actual dialogue be over and the mouth would still be moving once it was on the web. Do I just have too many layer and would lowering the gif quality help?

Yeah, I streamed it, but now the audio overcompensated and was even more out of synch than before. The audio before was synched up with the beginning of a peice of dialogue/action, but the action would keep going after the dialogue was over. Again, everything is synched in the movie, but once it's on the web the action is slow to keep up. Any ideas?

Edit - nevermind. I think this is an exporting issue and I found the exporting tutorial on the link you gave. Thanks!
