paint bucket

does any1 know how to fill your drawings using the paint bucket tool in flash 8.
Ive tried selecting the object then tried to fill it but no luck.

Do you accidently have object drawing on? Select your drawing and see if there's a blue box around it. If so then you'll have to double click inside that to fill it with the paintbucket tool. But it's better to have object drawings off. With your brush or pencil etc tools just deselect the circle in a box option on the left. Then you can make your stuff into symbols with f8 later. Hope that makes sense.
