You've seen the concept art. You've heard the plans. Now, here it is - Camo: The Graphic Novel - THE FIRST TWO PAGES! :)

This is my first attempt at doing graphic novel pages with dialogue and everything. Comments are particularly greatly appreciated.

Here's an illustrated synopsis of the graphic novel (note: contains spoilers) :

It's a great style but I think the "sounds" are a bit putting off.

barrab -

Thanks :)

I'll probably go back and take the "laps" out of the word bubbles - he isn't saying "lap, lap, lap," after all. I was trying to establish a rhythm of speaking and lapping, but I'm not quite sure it worked.

However, the other sound effects are pretty much there to stay :mickey1

Here are the subsequent 4 pages, which complete Scene One.

I have switched computers since doing Page 5, and unfortunately in the process I lost the fonts I was using: Orange LET for the dialogue and Benguiat BT Bold for the sounds. So, for the time being, this page is done entirely in boring old Times New Roman.

I've spent a great deal of time attempting to download the fonts off the internet. The font download sites are some of the wonkiest I've ever experienced. Often, search functions seem nonfunctional and most sites don't have these fonts. And when I do find them, clicking "Download" results only in an eternal hourglass.

If anyone knows where I can find these, I will be eternally grateful! :)

Overall I think you have a good story. What I would try to do is find some type of unique style for the graphics that will grab the readers attention.
