It looks like a interesting software bundle, the tablet looks killer but it's to expansive for my taste atm :)

I'll read up more on Mirage and post back with my opinion

yeh i checked this out quite a while ago,i'd rather get a cintiq with the next flash hehehe,mirage looks pretty cool though,pencils tools look great!

Well, the NOMAD is really awesome and all but I still love my Cintiq better, since it's up to the Computer Hardware but both give the same Idea.

I highly recommend you to check the “STRANGER” movie of Alon Boroda, he created it 100% using his Wacom tablet and Mirage, it will give you an idea of the “look” of what most of us do, paperless animation, I just was very impressed and think you should check it out here -> "STRANGER" (http://www.bauhaussoftware.com/Animation_gallery/Stranger/Stranger.html)

But the real Diamond is actual Mirage ! the NOMAD is very expensive (like the Wacom Cintiq) but it’s very new to the Digital Animation studios, so you can do whatever you do in FLASH or any other software with MIRAGE, I don’t have any experience with the program but I’m now trying it for myself… it’s hard to get used to None-Vector but worth the high quality results, so why not give it a try…

BTW – Terro, I highly recommend to add MIRAGE to the Software Specific category, it may be very popular here (who knows).

yes mirage looks like it could be good,i'll give it a try,download the trial version sometime,yeh i watched stranger,pretty damn cool!

thanks for the avatar compliment,thats actually my first animation from a year ago,so i'm not too impressed with it,but i am proud of it.

edit: oh and we'll think about adding a mirage forum....

its really a fast piece of equipment. enjoy animating scetches in it.
Made some animations last night with it.
was a little trouble some at first but i know the software pretty well now.

on the animation part that is =D

cool that the trial version has all the options of the real Software.. I gladley enojoy it.

will work more with it.
