Hello...

I have a Logitech Quick Cam and it works fine on msn and all. I go to use it in flash on something like this: http://www.flashkit.com/movies/Scripting/FLASH_MX-JASON_MA-7316/index.php
but it doesnt work. The screen just goes blue and the sound goes like a psyco snake. Anyone have any ideas?

Iv tryed the obvious things like switching USB ports and restarting the computer.

Its quite importaint that I work this delema out soonish. I wanna do some live preformances using my mouth as the cartoons mouth. Like on the special features of The incredibles dvd where they have that hillarious 2d spoof.

Try downloading the latest drivers for your web cam. If that doesn't work then it must be a bug inside of Flash itself. There must be a way to get it up and running.

If all else fails just record yourself with in a differetn program and import the file into flash.

I downloaded the latest driver last night... It didnt help me but it came with a program that has some cool thing... for example, A motion detector. Im thinking I got the wrong driver so Im getting a new one of the logitech site.

Im hopeing that it can be intereactive but I will live if its not. I want the kids to be able to ask questains and stuff and get a reply.

Thx for your help Terro! Much appriciated.

edit: I updated drivers... still doesnt work. So I sent an email to good old logitech

No... good idea!

edit.

Mr Terro you are great. Although you didnt solve my problem directly, you did solve it. I went to the flash forums and someone else had a problem and they said to change the camera settings in flash by right clicking... I had a different problem but that made me relise I had a different camera linked up to flash. How stupid am I to miss that... Thanks heaps.
