I have been involved with film-making for a number of years now, and I'm starting to dabble in animation. (my interests in animation pre-date my film career, and I'm versed in the basics via The Animator's Survival Kit.) My question is this: I have the Adobe Production Bundle, which includes Premiere, After Effects, Image Ready, etc... how can i use one or a combination of these software to create polished animation? I'm looking for .avi output to full screen NTSC.

Tips appreciated!!

You have Premiere and After Effects so that covers nonlinear editing and compositing. You will need a sound editing application to do your sound recording and effects work and you will need a drawing application to create your images. You probably have Illustrator in that bundle so that plus Photo Shop has you covered. That's all you need. As a low cost addition you might consider buying Toon Boom Studio which is a great animation production aid in conjunction with the products that you already have.
