Hi guys, I just got a new tablet (HURRAH!) and it came with Painter Essentials 3.

I was wondering, can you import other Painter brushes into it?
Or is that a no-no?

I'm quite happy to stick with Artrage, but was just curious, because I do like some of the brushes in Painter. Might use it again some day.

Edit...

Nevermind.

It doesn't appear that you can.
I tried importing Don's Seegmiller's brushes and it goes all glitchy even though they worked on the copy of painter I used to have. Seem only to be able to pick one brush in the category, and not any others after that.

Oh well. It was worth a try.
I'll just stick to Photoshop and Artrage thanks.

If anyone finds a way around it though, please say so ;)

check out dogwaffle's Deep Paint as well. I havent gotten into it yet, but I did download it. It has alot of brushes, saves numerous file extentions, and is free. I found painter essentials to be limited as well, although I MUCH prefer using it to adobe. When I have some spare cash maybe Ill spring for the full version of painter but who knows... Deep paint is worth a look though
