Is there any way that i can draw my images on a larger canvas (in flash 8)and then shrink them down, without losing any quality? I find it hard to draw some of my more complex images on such a small window.

Not sure exactly what you're asking here, so I'll try to give an answer to anything I can think of that's relevant.

Flash draws with vectors, so you can resize at will with zero quality loss.

You can also zoom in on the canvas up to 1200% using either the magnifying glass or the zoom drop down in the upper right corner.

Last, you can resize the canvas to whatever you want through the properties panel.

Hopefully, one of these will help you. Or perhaps, I completely misunderstood the problem you're having... :o

Good luck...

Awesome, thank you Moose. You understood completely. it doesnt lose any quality thats amazing, now im getting a bit excited. So in order to draw the more complex smaller detailed items i can just zoom in? Cool!! I love this program more every day!

Another question about flash... Is there any way to change camera angles?

Well, there's no camera in Flash, so...no...

What do you mean by camera angle? If you're talking 3D angles (rotate, etc), that's pretty much not gonna happen in Flash. For 2D (pan, zoom, etc) there is an ActionScript camera available for free (I think you can get it off of one of Adam Phillips sites).

The AS cam works great if you're outputting to swf, but it won't work going to QT, avi, or anything else for that matter. Should work in CS3, but I haven't tried it yet.

Good luck.
