I figure we'd throw a little poll and figure out how the leading animation applications stack up here on AF.
Note: This is a public poll, members will be able to see who voted for what.

I think Toon Boom is the cheapest approach for starters. They have packages for 99 bucks to start off with, yet the complete studio package is more expansive then Flash.

Flash...because it's the only software I got at the moment. :)
(beside Adobe Photoshop)
Do I need more? :) At the moment? (irony)

Flash because most of what I have done is web based, including the project I have been working on for the past 6 months....
I also use CTP Pro, but still much prefer flash! :D

I've only used flash.
I've never used ToonBoom or The Tab to do flash animation.
I use Flash mainly 'cause of web compatibility. As a 2-D animating pkg it ain't half bad either. Flash is what I started er starting with for digital animating.
