ok, as most of u probly dont kno, i live(d) in new orleans which is the place i do stuff and animate...so i cant animate now :mad: but i thot about keepin my lame skills fresh by having a thread wher i post animation tests and wutnot from flipbook (i kno, he's CRAZY!!!) so while these look crap, wut u c is wut u get. so far i just did this random floursack like com has already done and i will keep this thread updated so ppl can tell me if im still "fresh" or just losing my ability.

thanx. yea dude, the area i live in wasnt flooded because it was on a lil ridge i guess u cud say, so my "studio"hehe is fine, maybe alittle smelly :D. dude that sucks that ur old neighborhood is gone :(. i didnt kno u lived in the south :blink: right now im in los angeles(its so awesome here!) so far it seems my school will open in janurary (which is the main reason im stayin here) i added more like right after i posted the first link but was too lazy to update it :P

i keep gettin all these ppl talkin about my stuff on ja, when the hell did i post any of my tests over ther?!!!eh owell. argh, not more effects! i hate doing them, they lead to nowhere!
gah maybe ill open a workshop where all of u can come and see how basic and easy it is. i only seem good, cus u guys havent tried it(kinda like the first guy to ever play a videogame, everyone thinks hes hot, but when they play and realize ther better, hes not :D)

Looks good, -nelson-. I agree wit noob! about the weight of the sword but that also depends on the finished character too. I mean, if he's gonna be a stik dude then that blade will be swinging him more than he's swinging the steel. Final character comp will determine just how well the sword gets handled.
What got me was your choice of keys... just my opinion and not sure if it'd get the desired results but one more keyframe as the sword gets swung around (with the blade big and towards us) might help. I dont mean to add frames to change the overall timing of the the scene but just that part of the swing. That'd also help accentuate the weight, too. Not sure if you know what I mean. . .

But it looks good tho. And I see it's a .swf! Is that a good sign?

ok realizing how mush crap that was i attempted a second try (http://img396.imageshack.us/my.php?image=testy7wq.swf) for weighting exercising thing...yea. imagine the sword or wutever to be much heavier than it looks, and it disapears on the inbetweens, then i got lazy and just drew a line. well i guess its ok seeing as i havent read up to weight in ASK (still browsing te walk and run cycles hehe) enjoy :D
o mig yea i see wut ur talkin about, that wud help, but that .fla is gone :p and hopefully this is a good sign, tho anyone kno if i can uprade a 98 to 98SE (tablet requirements :( )

On the 98 to 98SE you should be able to upgrade no probs but if not then PM me and I'll send you a disk with 98SE. It's legal, too. The machine it came with is scrap and the software isn't in use at all. I'll mail it to ya.
