Ok folks, I will need some user inoput on our front page. I've installed a Animation Upload system and I need some of you to test it out. For now you can upload SWF, FLA, and MOV files. You can also upload screenshots and Thumbnails.

So if you have a file that you want hosted, goto http://www.animationforum.net/core/ and click on the upload animation link, and take it from there. It's my first time using this script and I want to knock out all the bugs before we go live.

NOTE: The site is very empty at the moment, but we are only in beta stage. A live release should be sometime next month.

Also, you can ponly upload files if your a registered members, visitors will have to register first to use this feature.

Post back here with any bugs you find. Thanks guys.

*Sorry, you must supply a URL to the file or upload one. If you did upload one and your arew still seeing this message then it is most likely due to the file which you uploaded being to large. Please go back and correct this.*

Try leaving the URL filed empty and only use the brows option. URL is used for getting files from the web, browse will get them from your hard-drive.

Ok, I changed a few things around and got it up to working order.

The upload limit was only at 500 K thats why we were running into the problem, I upped the file size limit to 4 Mb.

Heres a screenshot of the minimum fields that need to be filled out in order for the file to be uploaded.

The red bars show what options need to be filled.

Once a file is submitted it will go into moderation status and a email is sent to one of the administrators. They will then go check the file and either allow the file to be hosted by us or delete the file (files having nting to do with animation will not be stored on our servers)

I still need to test this puppy out, so someone go ahead and try to uplaod a swf or a mov file please.

Right, but you can't just upload a thumbnail or a image, the main upload feature is for animations movies, the thumbnails and screenshots are just an optional plus that go along with the animation files. So you can upload a swf file with out an thumbnail or a screenshot, but you can;t upload a thumnail or screenshot with out a animation file.

Bah, I already don;t like this script, I don;t think we'll be using it in our live release. It only allows you to download the animations and not watch them online.
