NOOB!

Half man, half bison,he is the strongest warrior of them all, remains an undefeated champion of gladiator fighting,Russel Crowe saw him and ran the hell away like a little sissy.*aah i'm scared* etc.
He has classic gladiator armour, and his classic weapon of choice (insert your own weapon of choice here,no guns keep it classic!!)
His name....... BISON,he's profression GLADIATOR
Note: It may also be a female version if you choose
[/cheesy as hell]

It was different from what I had in mind, but i really like the grin on her face and the way the character is portrayed, some nice design elements there too.
Mr comlock deserves an honourable mention, since he didn't really have a finished design, instead several sketches,i couldn't really award him.But dyam, good work.
Everyone else did a fantastic job aswell this time round, all improving very fast,my only beef is lack of refining,it would be nice to see some progress, and you don't always have to go with your first design, experimentation is good.
sweet...see u next week.

Congrats Bleu and Ben, well deserved. Now it's time to tackle this one.
Hooray! Also I agree that Bleupencil's design is pretty much perfect.
I think I'm going to have fun with this one.
Congratulations Bleupencil !! and Ben !!. Great work! :D
(Noob, dont use red colour to write on gray background, its a little difficult to read :))

This one is pretty hard, I can't get any solid ideas. I did a lot of speed sketches, and so far this is the only one I sorta like.

Great job, Ferx. Is there anything you're not great at??? I showed this thread to my wife, and she was so impressed with Bleu that she wants me to do a Bisonator at that level. Yeah right! Oh well, here is a rough...

Great stuff guys!
Kdog - Thanks man ! I hope the next approach have a full body. :D
Pixel - Thanks mate for such words, I don't deserve it. I really appreciate it. Thanks again! :)
heres the start of my attempt... I didn't think I'd be able to come up with anything decent for this one, but once I started trying I found this challenge a lot of fun :)
This is obviously still super rough, but I like where it's going, & since I started a little earlier this week than last, I think I can get something done with this.

Hey Kdog, nice start ! :) I like your bison, its a good reference, nice work mate !
A rough sketch for the full body approach.

Great blend of human/buffalo Ferx! I love the feet/hooves in particular, they really look like a combination of the two species :)
I think I like your first head better though. I like this one too, but the first one looked a little "thicker" like he had broader shoulders or something. Maybe he just lost a little weight :P I wouldn't wrestle either one heh :)
Hey Kdog, thanks mate! :D
Yep , you are right, in the last sketch the bison dont look a heavy weight, more like a medium weight ( perhaps that image was from when he didn't take steroids.... :D)
Olé!

I was going to make him all native american themed but I realised that would make him completely identical to a tauren from Warcraft.
nice ben!
here's mine slightly tightened up. haven't really done much to the buffalo, gonna see how this looks colored & then decide if I should do anything with it.

Hey Kdog, really nice concept, a bison - centaur gladiator!!, for sure the most difficult combination !! (you are brave man, my sincere respect :) ) and I really liked the action pose. Nice work !!
