Does anyone know of software where you just animate (2d or 3d) and not have to worry about drawing? Something free would be best and if it already had a lot of models, backgrounds, objects etc.
Something like http://www.dollysoft.com/index.htm only a little more advance.

Most programs usually have tutorial or resource files that you can do exercises with. But this is pretty limiting, because once you've played with them all, then what will you do?
There are also free model rigs available for 3D character animation. You'll have to google these, because I can't remember off the top of my head.
There's also Poser, but I haven't used this program in years and can't remember if it actually does any animating or not. Check that out too.
It's more fun to create your own stuff though. Good learning curve too.

The Jib Jab style of photo cut out animation can be very creative and doesn't really require any significant drawing skills although it does require patience and creativity in animating. click HERE (http://www.communitymx.com/content/article.cfm?cid=E520A) to watch a series of videos that will help you get started. He is using Fireworks and Flash but you can use any bitmap editing software and almost any animation software that allows for image importing and supports alpha channels. So Toon Boom Studio will also work very well and maybe even better than Flash. There are even rumors that Toon Boom Studio's newest version about to be released will allow you to bypass Fireworks and do all the Photo cut out work and animating all in one application.
