In the past I have used Adobe after effects to render my final animations to a video format but my current project is much larger than previous animations I've done. I have experimented with other cartooning software like toonboom - and I have Animo but have yet to delved into it. My question is simply is there/what is the pinnacle of professional 2D (cell) animation sofware? I know After Effects is plenty capable of fulfilling my needs but I'm looking to streamline my workflow as much as possible.

Any insight is appreciated.

NOOB!

there have been tons of these posts lately.

I'd stick with After Effects to be honest.

Even people that work with toonboom, which even has compositing tools within it,STILL use after effects. Its the best program for this sort of thing.

Nobody ever uses one program to get the final output.well thats not completly true, but its rare.

Sry 4 the bad topic placement mods.

Thnx for the reply, I figured After Effects would be the software of choice, toonboom was easy to learn and fun to play with but just didn't seem professional, has any1 tried Animo?
