Well I guess I should stop lurking and start posting more. I came here after hearing about it on The Eye on Animation podcast, and have been here ever since, but never really contributed much. I just like to get a feel for a forum before I jump in and make a monkey out of myself. But I'm happy to see such a forum exist in the first place. You all seem like a cool bunch of guys and you actually prefer hand-drawn animation too! That's just too awesome!

Here's a project my brother and I are working on currently.

Kitsune Kiki (http://www.kitsunekiki.com)

Keep in mind that all the art is actually my little bro's (Neato Neko). While I'm behind the scenes working on mine so that I can help take this to the next level. Currently I'm doing a pencil test of our main heroine, Kiki. I'll keep it simple for now and see how that goes. Anyway, I wanted to finally introduce myself, and quit being a lurker. ;)

Hey Ramune. Nice stuff. I've been a big fan of comics all my life.

So where's this bro of yours you speak about? It'd be cool if you both were here to yak about art and sketching and whatnot. Do you/have you done any animating? If not have you considered it?

I like the comic and would like to see more. Nice work!
Nicetameetcha, too.

Nice to meet you MiG! Thanks, glad you like it! As for my bro, he's at college right now, but I go and pick him up during the weekends. He does the majority of the artwork for now. As for myself, I don't have any of my work available, lost it all from a crash a long time ago that kinda had me depressed for a long time. Just starting to get over it a bit, and have started to sketch little doodles here and there (it's been a while ^_^;).

As for animation....YES!!!! That's a main reason why I'm here after all! There's not a day that goes by, where I have NOT considered doing animation. I'm working on a few right now. One is the aforementioned pencil test. Another is a remake of a Flash animation I did for a class project that I lost thanks to a disgruntled Sawtooth Powermac G4 at college. After seeing what can be done with Flash, it just inspires me even more! I think making your characters come alive through animation is just too wonderful, don't you think so?
