Hi everyone. I am making a website for my friend who is a doctor and wants some animation about how the drug works. I saw this beautiful one just like this http://www.antigenics.com/products/tech/hsp/animation.html. How can i do something like this? Or what program do you people use? Thanks

Hi,
What you need to create something similar is a 3D animation tool. I can't tell you which one they used in that animation, but they all do pretty much the same job these days.
Check out the softwares under the 3D section in our toolbox. http://www.animationforum.net/tb_software.php

wow thanks for quick reply. Which one do you think is the best? There are so many but I have no idea about 3d animating at the moment:) I was looking for someone that can do the work for my friend but they all charge so much:(

With all due respect, you wouldn't ask someone who just read a health book at the local library to perform surgery would you? All the tools in the world will not get you good results without taking the long haul of doing. They charge a lot for a reason. If you would be satified with something extremly simple (like treating a cut in my analogy) then maybe.
If spending money is a problem, Blender is a capable and totally free 3d program, but trust me it's a pretty steep learning curve even if you know plenty about animation in general. http://blender.org In this game, all the software (thats not open source) is pretty pricy stuff, but it is minor compared to the labor that's required to use any of it effectively.

... What you need to create something similar is a 3D animation tool ... to complete Terro's answer, I would add a compositing software, AE, fusion, combustion, ... or at least an NLE software, + an audio-recorder/editor tool, like sound forge for instance, for the sound track ... :)
can someone explain the use of a compositing software in the production framework, please.
Thanks!
