I have been wanting to make a Simpsons style short. I plan to get a team of me, another writer, and a few animators to collaborate on a project to make something like this. Before I go any further though, I want to clear a few things up:
When I say simpsons style, I don't mean animation quality... that obviously would require a decent budget. I just mean the look of the characters.
I'm a teenager with homework, so this will be more of a side project.
You're not going to be paid money, I'll make sure you're credited in the short, though. That's all I can offer. I will make sure that your name and email is on the credits and I'm gonna try to post the video everywhere I can.
I'll be reachable every weekend and every other weekday.
This will be my first animation project. However, I know the steps that people take to make an animation. I have researched for a couple months before posting this.
I WILL NOT be dumping all the work on you guys, I plan to be writing the story, putting together a storyboard, and talking to you about what I can expect (meaning- what is a realistic goal we can set and what isn't). And, of course, I will consider you're thoughts on the script and your recommendations on any changes to it.
I just want animators that think they will have fun doing this, because that is what I want it to be.
Any questions and/or criticism are welcome.Thank you for taking your time to read this.

P.S. I'm expecting this to be a 5 minute short, tops, I just think any longer and it would be way too much work for you guys.
