You may find this weird... but I'm actually moving from 3D into 2D... and most of the Animators I know do the opisite hehe...
and it's not easy at all... 2D is harder for me, much harder.. but it worth everything.

I never liked MAX.. as Maya user (also worked with Lightwave long time ago)
well.. My first love is 2D and that's why I try to make it... 3D is cool and everything I always can use my knowlege and just keep on learning more and more (neverending learning is also a challenge).

I got few stuff to show that really old when I only test myself using Maya... nothing "WOW" but I didn't waste too much time on those old crappy works.

As I said.. none of those ever had the chance to be FINISHED, so no texture, or shaders.. I just focused on modeling and playing with 3D.

Last picture made with Lightwave... but Maya is my real Love, I can't stand any other 3D program if it's not Maya.

I did 3D for a few years. Never got very good at it. I started with a bootleg version of 3D max in highschool then once I gratuated I purchased Cinema 4D studio /w Bodypaint 2, this one was legit :) Bodypaint 2 is a great program, if you know photoshop and want to be a 3D texture artist, look up Bodypaintt by Maxon.net
