Hi folks !
I dont have an animation yet to show you, it will be only in 2008. But I have some projects that I can show. Here is a rabbit ! Tadam !! lol
Im working on cause some of my friends want a rabbit on the first page Internet company' site. For the moment, the rabbit is like a stick but eventually, I will try to put some fur on it and I will rig the rabbit to place it in some cool poses. (I hope you understood my text ! hahaha)

The rabbit looks really good D. Did you use sub-d modeling on him? He looks really smooth.

If you're going to animate him, I hope to see some sweet whisker movements!

Thx Terro ! :)
For my modeling, I use 3dsmax8. Its only a lowpoly with a meshsmooth (scale 2) on it. I didnt used ZBrush.
In few days, I will post another picture with a little photoshop texture on it. It's an albinos rabbit but there is some pink color on the nose, around the eyes, etc...
For Monsieur Rat, I dont have to animate the rabbit for my contract but I must to do a rigging and a skinning to move it in different poses. Maybe I'll try it for fun ! ;)

Haha. Well I hope you do, and if you don't, post some of the poses you come up with. Or are you rigging and not posing?

That rabbit looks awesome, I can't wait to see the finished product, with fur and everything.
I think you should animate it as well.

For anyone that's used fur, or hair, on a 3D model knows how much of a B*&# it can be. But a rabbit would only need short hair, but still... :banghead

It is indeed brutal. To the max. Well I mean, you could just make a texture, but it wouldn't look nearly as good of course. Animating the fur too, oh boy. I have mad respect for hair/fur animators.

If I animate it, the fur will be easy to animate (I think) cause I can put a "dynamic" on fur. When I take the rabbit (with fur and dynamics) and I shake it, fur moves automatically. But like I said, I dont think that I will animate it, only poses for the moment !
I think also that I will cheat a little bit for the fur. I will probably do a fur texture on the skin and put the fur on. Like this, I will be able to decrease the number of fur and the render will be faster. I just dont know which look it will have ;)
I'll would like to begin the texture this week ! :D Ill post later ;) Ciao !

Cool. I take issue with dynamics thought. In my perfect little world, every aspect of everything is animated manually and with the utmost care and love.
