Well the holidays have been hell on me. What with the time with the family and work i haven't had much time for fun or i get home too tired. Well here i go again spreading myself thin again. I took a break from the lip synce and did this quick sketch for a digital painting i would like to do. If i find them time i'll post an update if not it's a sketch right.

OK, all jokes aside. I have to agree with Nubian on the life drawings, it's a major problem for me myself. As for the Monster/Robot, he's starting to take shape. I definitely think you should keep working on this piece because it has potential. I also like the way you did marker-type shading on it.

Ok i'm back on the monster painting. The last couple of painting sketches really helped me out to loosen up. I got the bg done and flushed out the skull. Still haven't touched the girl saving her for the end. :)

Ok gang here is todays up date. I'm still working on it but like Noob said the bg was fighting with the robot for attention so i toned it down. So the bg and the robot r done. Now on to the pile of debris and finally the all imcompasing girl. :D I saved her for the end as the icing on the cake. I'll have to sit and stare at it for a while to think of what i'm going to do with her but she'll get there. I plan on finishing up this thing this weekend and then back to the alice. It's bugging me that i didn't finsih it.

Hey Noob i'll just try to use the excuse of that famouse french painting, not that mine is as good as it but some what the same idea. I can't remember the name of it but it's where the lady has one breast hanging out and holding a pistol or carring a flag i can't remember which. Well as my art teacher once told me that the reason she had one breast out was to show vulnerability and yeah i think it was a gun she was holding and carring a flag. Anyways the gun was to show that even tho she was vulnerable she was willing to defend herself. :) .... Ok i hope u bought that.

Ok now if u guys/gals have any ?? the answer is yes. I made these when i used to work for an erotic Cake shop. Everything from the decoration to the art on top. It was airbrushed with food coloring and sculped with cake and the shaft of the unit(penis) is styrofoam unfortunetly cause they had to hold up on the way home.

Well i got the job back when i was going to school, I was in need of money and one of my friends had the job but got hired at a corp job. So he said that since he knew i could Airbrush that if i would like to work there. So I gave it a shot and got the gig. I luved doing those type of cake they were really fun. Unfortunetly i hated the bosses. Me and them would always butt heads and I ended up quiting on them like 4 times. Hahaha the thing is they would always call me in and pay me more cause no one around knew how to do them or as good as what the customers had gotten used to so their sales would always dip when i would quit. :D

And to be fair, Noob... I did take fine art studies at both the Louvre and the Musei Vaticani, plus have take fine art courses in school since 8th grade, plus extra courses outside. But just in case my forgetfulness got the better of me, as it has been known to do, I'll agree and apologize, so sorry.
And as far I have learned, cubist, surrealist, and all of such are sub-classes of the broadened abstract style. And contemporary, or modern, art is what is known as beat-art (after the useless beat-knicks who more or less started it).
But once more, maybe I'm confused... tis very possible, and I don't want ot start some sort of argument, so I'll asume you, being most likely older and more experienced than I, are correct.

Whooo hoooo i finally did something non porn. I hit a block while animating on a project and then someone reintroduced the story of the La Llorona or the Weeping lady to me. Which inspired a vision and so i got it out. Recent events in the news where i live have actually made me think of mabe trying to take on this nightmarish tale as an animated project. I have to get my self organized of course before i try it, but who knows. Anyways with out any further adue La Llorona

Noob: I agree, but i was trying to keep him on the Rt to somewhat symbolize him being the bad guy and pushing against the other wrestler who is trying to go from lft to Rt. Somewhat sybolizing good. Thanks for the link there Noob, I appreciate it. His book reminds me of Drawing Power by Bart Sears. Looks really nice, i'll give it a look at amazon and see if I can get it here in the states.

Wow how does time fly when i get home. But oh no not at work, time there takes it sweet arse time. Dangit why do we need sleep again. Well after an hr or two at the old word doc trying to write out episode 1 of miss A Bomb i took a break and did some more character searching with the character faces that were liked the most from my last post. well i was a bit busy this past week. Did a penis cake for one of my friends. Hahha she asked for it. I told her if she was sure and well sure nuff she got one. The funny thing about those things is that the pictures never really do them justice. They r 10 as shocking as u actually think they r but boy r they a riot. Ok i had a little too much fun with this one. One of my friends showed me this Artist art work Shane Glines and it inpired me to do versions of miss A Bomb in his style. I really like the way he draws hips and how simplified his style is. This type of style comes hard to me since i want to add all kinds of details. I do like the idea though and the style seems to lend itself to animation more so than what my style of drawing. Ok enough ranting i'm off to try and be a writer. Sheese wish me luck i'm not that good at it.
