Animator needed

Hey everyone

My name is Mike and I am cofounder and producer of DAM Productions (http://www.damproductions.org/). I have written my first cartoon and we would like to produce it. We're looking for an artist who can design characters and sets, following our original design concepts, and ready them for animation by another animator.

The finished first draft script is availble for those interested in looking.

Looking for more of a hobby person who hopes to flesh out their artistic abilities on our humble little programme.

NOTE: there is no payment. We hope to pitch our finished pilot to broadcasting houses and if there is any interest, then the artist will get paid, along with the other animator and voice artists. If the programme is bought, we will require your services again for a potential series if one is commissioned.

Hey thanks for replying, sorry about the delay.

The only thing we can provide is the script and early concept drawings. This is the first animated project we've worked on as a group, previously only doing audio.

Only change in the project is that the animator will get pretty much free reign during production, although we'd have to agree on concept drawings and style before hand.

For those who still read these forums and this thread, for that matter, this project is not dead. I've been organising the files to upload for your interest.

This will include,

- the script in pdf format

- an mp3 of the original (first draft) soundtrack

- concept artwork of some characters

We are looking for someone to produce the final characters, hopefully incorporating their own style into the characters and finally, if they wish, animate to the final dialgoue. If someone can only the characters and sets ready for animating, then that would be good.

That's very funny. Your characters look good as well. The President's office is spot on. There's a lot of talking and not too much movement. Hope you find someone to help you and come back with the finished product.

the final product should be 'action packed' per sey with King Kong doing Seattle in and Godzilla joining him.

the audio isn't too descriptive of what is intended since the soundtrack is for 'help finding' purpose only.

Update: I have edited the first post, removing animator and turning to artist as we have acquired an animator. Also, the thread title has changed to support this change and also to bump and gather more interest ;)
