Hello everyone,
This is my first post so Hello to everyone. I have been a freelance 3d modeler for a few years and decided to try 2d for the fun of it. I am currently using photoshop & afterFX during this learning process and thought I would try and start simple so I decided to make a fanimation of Family Guy (hope no one boo's me). Here is the script of what I would like to animate. Nothing has been animated yet however I have the opening sequence completed and the backgrounds for the house, living room, and bar. Let me know what you guys think:
Opening sequence of Family Guy (only text). Music starts (edited) at “He’s a Family Guy” and then spoofs into the Married with Children intro (slime and stamp).
EXT./ESTAB. GRIFFINS’ HOUSE - DAY

INT. GRIFFINS’ LIVING ROOM - SAME
Peter sitting on the couch watching TV
TV ANNOUNCER (V.O.)We now return to Pirates of the Caribbean 4: Curse of the Stage
ANGLE ON THE TV.
EXT. TORTUGA BAR - NIGHT
There is a sign on the door for Comedy - Open Mic night.
INT. TORTUGA BAR BEHIND STAGE - NIGHT
Joshamee Gibbs is standing behind the curtains to the side of the stage and out of the view of the audience. Jack Sparrow is standing in the middle of the stage in front of a mic. The curtains are closed and he is wobbling as usual.
JOSHAMEE GIBBS
Jack, this stage is cursed! You’ll never become immortal this way.
JACK SPARROW
Mr. Gibbs, there are more then one way to become immortal. Savvy
ANNOUNCER (V.O.)
Ladies and Gentlemen, Please welcome Jack Sparrow.
JACK SPARROW
Captain.
The curtains begin to open.
POV switches to front of the stage.
JACK SPARROW (CONT'D)
Ahoy sailors. I have a new movie coming out that’s rated RRRRRR.
There is silence in the audience,
JACK SPARROW (CONT'D)
A pirate walks into a bar with a ship steering wheel attached to his crotch. The bartender ask “Why do you have a steering wheel attached to your crotch” The pirate answers “Because it’s driving me nuts.”
Drum sound for humor plays.
Camera zooms out to show Jack standing on a ball trying to balance himself and then falls.
CUT TO
INT. GRIFFIN’S LIVING ROOM
Peter clicks the remote and turns the TV off.
PETER
Man, that was even worse then that morning I woke up with the king.
CUT TO
INT. GRIFFIN’S BEDROOM
Peter is sleeping in the bed with a note that says “Took Chris to school - Lois.” Rolling as he is waking up, the camera pans left as he turns to get out of bed. The Burger King Guy is standing there holding an egg sandwich.
PETER
AHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!! What the Hell!
Scared, Peter reaches under his pillow and grabs a 9mm gun and shoots the Burger King guy. He gets up and snaps his neck. Peter looks around the room and then shoves him under the bed. He picks up the sandwich and starts to eat it.
PETER (CONT'D)
That was for not selling the whopper for a day you jerk!
