...and x-sheeting dialogue I find are very tedious tasks :banghead
It's usually the point I procrastinate on the most.

Does anyone have any pointers to make this maybe a little quicker and easier?

I usually just use good ol' Premiere because Magpie and I had a falling out in our friendship ;P

You have toon boom too right? Have you tried the auto-mapping lip synching? I've never found it to be spot on, but it usually gets the majority of frames right & then I can swap mouth positions where appropriate.

Like I said it won't get your whole dialogue spot on, but I've always found it to be a hell of a time saver. Swapping cells is fast & easy, so you pretty much just need to tidy up what TBS maps out for you.

Yah, I still don't know my way around the program very well, but I'll see if I can give that a shot. Thx dawg! :)

np, I can help ya out with toon boom stuff anytime. Here are a few things on lip synching in the program that might help. If I have time I'll write something up a little more specific. Hope it helps.

Video Tut on TBS Wiki (http://toonboomcartooning.wetpaint.com/page/Tutorial+-+Automatic+Lip+Sync)
If I remember correctly, this uses very basic shapes & such, but it's a really good tutorial that demonstrates all the "how to" stuff you should need.

TBS Wiki - Lip Synching (http://toonboomcartooning.wetpaint.com/page/lip+synching)

TBS Manual (pdf) (http://www.toonboom.com/pdf/product/tbs/TBS4_User_Guide.pdf)

Lip synch stuff is in Ch 5 of the manual, starting on pg 160.

Anyway, hope it helps, if you have questions on specifics feel free to ask.
