It's a fresh Monday here at the Marvel Comics HQ. Word came down from the wire that the editor is looking to RetCon some of the movies made recently. So his challenge to his staff is to cast (and draw) different movie stars into roles from the Marvel universe.

So what are you waiting for? A Parade?! GET ON IT!

Deadline: February 18th 2008 Monday 12:00 am CST

Requirements: Draw a celebrity in a Marvel Persona. Bonus consideration if you make it into a movie poster or other marketing gimmick.

I feel bad I haven't done one of these in ages.... trying to get something in on this one, but got school + other projects + life = hard to squeeze this in :(

These seem to go in waves of good & not so good participation, think making it 2 weeks would bring more in? Just thinking out loud, not really sure it would work anyway. Might just be the nature of the beast. :rolleyes:

Or maybe you should have included DC comics :P

:banghead My first attempt. I'm not so hot at caricature (It's supposed to be Bob Newhart as Galactus). Plus I really missed the RetCon point; he should be the Watcher's brother-in-law (that's right he married his big headed sister!) or something like that. I will make another attempt later if I get time...
