A Wiki link has been added to the forum navigation bar. You can find it sitting between the Calendar and New Posts links.

I just had another good idea for our wiki. If your working on a animated short, feel fre to set up a wiki page for it. It would be a good way to tell us a little about the story line as well as some of the characters in it.

I went ahead and added a Current Animation Projects (http://www.animationforum.net/wiki/index.php/Current_Animation_Projects) wiki page where users can place a wiki link to their projects page.
I also added a View New Wiki Posts (http://www.animationforum.net/wiki/index.php/Special:Newpages) link which should make it easie to find new articles and updates.

i didn't mean a blog would be better than the wiki,i meant a blog would be better for telling about your own projects.
A wiki isn't meant for that sorta stuff, its for general info, not personal,i think both a blog and wiki would be great, but thats more money.
Oh :Xead:
Blogs are free though, aren't they?

I have to disagree with both of you on this one. If you look on wikipedia they have full articles on animations such as Beauty and The Beast, ....ect... Thats what a wiki is used for. Maybe after the animation is complete rather then when it is in productions, but overall it's a great wway to share informations and we really need users to pitch in in the content.

No problem, Terro!
My WIP project page (http://www.animationforum.net/wiki/index.php/The_Snail%2C_Bird_and_the_Biker). And I uploaded two pictures which became quite unnecessary... How can I delete them?

Just leave em there, I'll clean up all unused images. Just delete the link to them in the wiki if you don't need them, because if they are linked or displayed they won't be removed when I run a sweep.
BTW: I love your style, the colors of the bird in contrast to the background lok great.

Are you going to delete all my articles again if I start to add some new ones?
You never answered my question of what you did with the old wiki, did you do a backup before you deleted it?

Listen David, I appologize about all the work you put into the old wiki. It is entirely my fault that the sript didn't work. I should have tested it fully before allowing people to populate it. As far as the content goes, I transfered the content I could see, the search option was broken in the old Wiki, so I was not aware that I left anything behind. I'm sorry if I did. The truth is that the new wiki overwrote the old wiki's database, so all the information was lost.

It's okay. I was just feeling a bit annoyed that you didn't give us a warning that you were going to delete the old wiki.
Now I'm going to write some new articles.
