my crit is probably that your over stylizing and making the models look comic bookish, but i guess it all depends on what your trying to improve on.
i personally don't see the point of drawing from *life* if ur gunna stylize anyway lol.
i still think they are excellent.
sangfroid will probably say its cool though, never comments on my work cos i'm to realistic for him,*keep at it noob, draw what u see*
[/end of rant]
:D
Well I drew what I saw. At least I tried to. What parts of the drawings are stylized?
You have nice clean sketches TFC. Looking good.

the faces, the elongation of limbs, its more apparent in the first 3,you seem to break out of it in the last 3.
can't wait for more!

looks fine to me, you can obviously draw. I would like to see you homing in on things you would like to take further though ( ie:feet, hands etc). It's always good to prepare for a life class in this way (for instance if hands are bothering you, do 5 pages with drawings of hands before you goto the life class next week, they won't bother you again) . Also as the saying goes don't be afriad to kill your baby. Some say that drawing is in essence the art of correction. If somthing is looking nice and your happy with it But you know it could be better eraze it. You'll be suprised how quickly you can redraw it and concentrieght on improoving it :).
Also (with big voice) step away from the pencil. Don't be afriad to experiment with different media. It will all inform each other, otherwise there is only so far you can take it :).
And don't be afraid to experminent, have fun with it :). Try doing soem realy exagerated drawings. Bring in work from people you like and try to draw the figure in there style (prepare during the week to do this).
It's looking realy good so far man, I expect if you keep it up you'll be kicking everyones ass soon, then you can be my tutor! :D.
Thanks guys. :) I really need to stop using graphite. The graphite sketches look so lame compared to the charcoal ones. I need to run down to the art store. Grab some pens, markers, crayons, conte....hmmmm.

TFC those r really nice i really enjoyed them. U got it down the pose the gesture and the lighting. Great job. Also i really like the suggestions that SangF said, i'll take some of that advice for my self if u don't mind.
I look forward to seeing more.
My 5 minute sketches look way better than my longer ones. I decided to just do the first bit of the 20 minute poses as quickly as possible but there was only one pose left (the last one). It looks pretty good to me.

ooo you're getting better again! And is that Charcoal i see creeping in there? Again don't be afriad to use different media! You will be suprised how much They inform each other.
TFC, touch me so I can be turned to gold and be placed in your secret lab and watch you create such things. Seriously.
