...Acting skills?

Do you have to have acting skills to be a better animator? Because I'm no actor. :mad: Will this affect my animation? :confused: Want my charcters have convincing (acting). But still got a lot to learn about animating.

U know Neo i have heard that u should at least take a class or two. Hell or at least pretend to act stuff out in front of a mirrior. Remember that we as animators have to act out what we think the character we're working with is doing. Ref material is also always great. If u have a chance to video tape ur self or friends pretending to be those characters would give u alot of insight as to how to make them move. When i was back in high school i was thrown into drama class and kind really hated it back then. Now tho i really whish i had taken the follow up to that. I've even messed with the idea of taking a couple of classe at my local jr college. Just to get more insight on it. :Blahblahb

are u one of those anti-gun bla blah, takes pics to seriously type of guys,i hope not.heh

and yeh u'll need some good acting skills to make convincing animation,i always act out what i'm gunna do before i animate it,u don't neccasarly need to take a class,just have some confindence.

I did drama school years back and i learnt allot..
it also benefits things like voice acting.

Haha hey Noob no i'm not like that. Hell i whish i had me a gun but the wife would kill me if i did have one. U know i think she is kind of like that. Not to an extreme but she doesn't want one in the house. I was just curious as to the symbolism of it that's all :D

There's no meaning.But when my friends or classmates sees the pic they are pretty shocked lol because I'm pretty shy and nice in person lol. Plus I took that pic while I was bored.

U know mini dv r quite cheap now that i should look into getting one myself. I have a ton of projects it would help alot on. :D
