Anime studio how to turn image layers to vector layers?
As i am finding trouble with animating the image once i have rigged it as it will move everything in the image
please help

aw man i've also attempted to animate in anime studio, and i can truely say it is a major piece of crap waste of money.
i'd suggest saving up some money and invest in something else.
i personally use digicel flipbook and i love it, you have to draw your animations out frame by frame but it has never failed me.

You could ask over at the Anime Studio forum:

They may have more experience with the software. I tried it myself and didn't find the interface too intuitive. As for images maybe you need to isolate the portion of the image you want to move on another layer. Then keep the rest on a layer you can lock.

that's pretty much it. (if it's the problem i think you have)
you need to section your image (in gimp, photosh..). ie; 2 separate arm jpgs, 2 separate leg jpgs, a torso and a head.
then bring them in on different layers and then you can rig dem bones.
i've played with this soooo many times but i always end up going back to vectors as it can really slow the program down (have been using BIG image files)...
