i'm actually going to try to figure it out after work tonight. but i thought i'd ask just in case. if i import transparent frames from photoshop (in multiply mode) to after effects, will they stay transparent? or is there something i need to do in AE to make that happen?
i basically just want to put the frames on a single, line-drawn white background.

I think starting with CS2 everything transfers seemlessly from PS to AE and other Adobe products. Although I'm far from being a AE expert, I just purchased my copy earlier this year.

You may have to make a background, but transparent. I had this problem when making logos for my website and posted about it: http://homepage.ntlworld.com/theblackspot/documents/computer/website/transparent.html
