Is there a way to make a smaller resolution *.swf file?
Without having to import it into another flash file's movie clip, or editing HTML code? (HTML is not used in this situation anyway)
I draw on a pretty large scale, but want to create a downsized version for other use.
The only conclusion I've come to is exporting it as a video file and resizing that, which I'd rather not do because it makes the file unnecessarily large. A 100kb *.swf to 7mb *.mov just doesn't cut it.
FYI: I'm using Flash Pro 8.

Edit: I almost always seem to find an answer somewhere else *after* posting the question on a forum. Go figure.
After a small experiment with Toon Boom, I've discovered it's possible to do what I'm asking. But it's only with Toon Boom as far as I've discovered. Other alternatives are still welcome here, just in case someone else who doesn't have TB would like to know.
Open Toon Boom and create a file of the same aspect ratio (ie - 16:9) as your *.swf, but at your desired resolution.
EG: I went from 1920x1080 down to 614x346 pixels.
Import your raw *.swf file, then export again as a differently named *.swf and voila!
I did this using Toon Boom Studio 4 and a reeeeeally simple test animation, there's no guarantee on how it will work out for something complex though :\
