Hi Guys,
I'm trying to get a GOOD quality of a 1:30 minutes video.
When I render it as Xvid I get amazing quality with only 22 MB
When I try to get the SAME BEST amazing quality with QuickTime I get about
70 MB !!!
So... How to Keep the 1:1 ratio Quality (like I did with the Xvid)
using QuickTime format ???
Whad do you use as the Compression configuration/parameters when you save as QuickTime ?
thanks !

Try using Quicktime 7 with it';s new codec, it beats Divx hands down. But... there is a catch. Only people with QT 7 will be able to view it.

Hi Terro !
How are you, I hope you feel much better, good to see ya around again my friend :)
Well.. the thing is not about the GENERAL program it's when I choose .MOV I have a configuration to choose the compression inside, for example: MPEG-4, Animation, None-Compress (Huge, that's my original movies before compress) and more... I wonder what kind of compression you guys choose when you render your movie as QuickTime and also want to save the good quality.

hey. i usually use mpeg 4, at the highest quality... but you get so-so results. if you have any version of quictime pro, try chopping a section of your clip, a short section of like 5 seconds, and render a whole bunch of times, each time with a different compessor, and you'll find what quality you want. i kmow mpeg4 really cuts the filesize, but you do find a decrease in quality...
i also like sorensen, but again, you'll get funny resaults with different copression setting.
good luck!
